Undergraduate Admission

Before applying, you should acquire additional information about the degree completion program from the the program coordinator or department offering the degree. They will help you throughout the admissions process, including transfer evaluations and advising.

You can apply online for undergraduate admission.

Application and Admission Requirements

If you don't want to apply online, please submit application materials to the Admissions Office.

  1. A completed Colorado State undergraduate application form.
  2. A nonrefundable $50 application fee.
  3. Official transcripts of all collegiate work completed (unofficial transcripts from Colorado State will be accepted).
  4. If financial support is desired, a complete Application for Financial Assistance (GS 4B).
  5. List of current and anticipated course work that you plan to complete prior to enrolling at Colorado State.
  6. A focused essay of one to two pages in length addressing your background, skills, interests, goals and/or important personal factors.
  7. Optional - One or two letters of recommendation from individuals able to comment on your academic qualifications.

International Students Only

In addition to the requirements listed above, international students also need:

  1. Two official transcripts with a certified translation into English.
  2. Certified proof of financial support.
  3. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores: The minimum TOEFL score for unconditional admission is 213 (computer-based) and 550 (paper-based). Official scores taken within two years prior to admission must be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service. Conditional admission is possible with the provision that you achieve adequate proficiency in English (TOEFL score of 213) before registering for courses or that you satisfactorily complete an Intensive English Program. Approval of the department is necessary for such conditional admission.
  4. Any other information that individual departments may require of applicants to particular programs.

Submit Applications Before the Deadline

Deadlines for degree programs offered though Continuing Education may not follow University dates. Visit your degree program page for specific dates as your program may have deadlines that vary from our general deadlines. Please note that applying for financial aid adds several weeks time.
