OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute

In partnership with the Bernard Osher Foundation, the OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University is an innovative educational program. The program is designed to help people 50 years of age or better, or anyone with a curious mind, renew their enthusiasm for learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

Courses

Photo of OSHER class participantsYour membership entitles you to discounts on stimulating programs. On an annual basis, the Institute will present two program sessions (Spring and Fall) with a variety of offerings over an array of themes, including:

  • Historical Contexts and Current Issues
  • Facets of the Rocky Mountain Region
  • Life Transitions
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Enjoying the Arts . . . and more

Offerings Include

  • Themed Lecture Series
    Presentations by various experts on a number of topics related to a particular theme
  • Lunch and Learn Lectures
    After an instructor-led lecture, lunch tables will engage in group discussions.
  • Short Courses
    Learning through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, forums, and/or field trips
  • Cultural Events
    "Behind the Scenes" knowledge, engagement and community building in partnership with the Colorado State University's Center for the Arts
