Business Administration Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.)
The MBA program is designed to provide an opportunity for potential or practicing managers to develop and sharpen their professional skills. The curriculum focuses on the broad function of business operations with specific emphasis on technology management, global orientation, and corporate citizenship.
The program is designed around a specific plan of study ensuring that students have an understanding of specific concepts before progressing in the program.
Program Curriculum
This is a professional degree program (Plan C); therefore, students are not required to complete a thesis, final project, or comprehensive final examination. Transfer credits are not accepted.
The MBA program can be completed in either a 2-year (21 month) plan or a 4-year plan. The 2-year plan requires the student to take two courses concurrently, while students in the 4-year plan take only one course at a time. Both programs require courses to be taken in the summer. See the plan of study below for the specific course sequences.

I liked the program format, especially the class DVDs and collaborative work projects. The Colorado State University program did more than provide me with an advanced degree, it gave me the opportunity to build a network of colleagues and to learn from a diversity of experiences in multiple industries. It was an amazing experience and gave me a competitive edge in the marketplace!

Technical Requirements
- Several classes use software and CD-ROMs that are solely Windows-based. Students must have access to a suitable PC in those classes to fulfill the course requirements.
- Microsoft Office 2000/XP Professional
- Additional software as required per course
We strongly recommend you have some type of anti-virus software on your computer. This not only protects you, but also your classmates and faculty.
My belief that Education is the "resource for life," motivated me to seek an MBA from a university that had good rankings in public review catalogs, first-class infrastructure and faculty, and flexibility in accommodating my heavy travel schedule. I found all of those requirements at Colorado State University. I was recently promoted and I know that receiving my MBA from CSU gave me a unique advantage over other candidates.
