Agricultural Business
Bachelor of Science
Designed to enhance personal and professional growth, this undergraduate degree completion program offered through the College of Agricultural Sciences focuses on business management primarily applied to the production and marketing of agricultural products. Economic theory provides a framework for understanding agricultural issues, predicting the likely effects of government policies and regulations, and devising solutions to economic and environmental problems. Most decisions by governments, business or individuals must weigh trade-offs or balance costs and benefits.
This program can accommodate a variety of previous coursework while offering the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today's workplace.
Program Requirements
This degree completion program is designed for students who have completed at least 60 semester hours of transferable college credit with a GPA of 2.0 or better and individuals who have completed an A.A. or A.S. degree with an emphasis in agriculture. Prior transcripts are evaluated to determine academic status in relation to satisfying degree program requirements, including both general education courses equivalent to Colorado State core curriculum and all prerequisites for upper division junior- and senior-level work.
A total of 42 upper-division credits (300 - 400 level) are required to complete the program, with a minimum of 30 upper-division credits earned at Colorado State University. The number of courses you will need to complete your degree will depend primarily on how many earlier credits transfer. You are encouraged to complete any outstanding general education courses and lower division prerequisites as you pursue formal admission to Colorado State University.
