OSHR 1605 - Building Green for a Healthy Planet

Noncredit

Delivery/Location: Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University.

"Building Green" is one of the fastest growing movements in the design and construction industries. Businesses, government agencies, and homeowners are recognizing the inherent benefits of green, sustainable practices such as energy and water conservation, the use of healthy materials, green cleaning, and implementing renewable energy strategies. Participants will learn about the primary areas of building green, observe case studies of successful green buildings in Colorado and elsewhere, and hear projections for a future that includes "living buildings" that are healthy for building occupants and the planet.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
