A study of modern practice human resource development from a perspective of its history, philosophy, principles, application and literature. Special attention will be placed on the three domains of HRD: organizational learning, performance and change.

Lisa S. Brinkman is an Instructor in the Organizational Performance and Change (OPC) program at Colorado State University where she teaches Human Resource Development. Lisa is currently pursuing Ph.D. in the OPC program at CSU. The subject of her dissertation is still undecided; however, will likely center around the Return on Investment (ROI) of Human Capital and performance management interventions.
Lisa has over twelve years experience with Accenture, a Big 4 consulting firm where she was responsible for organizational development designs, implementing change management initiatives, and designing performance management solutions within the federal government and natural resource sectors. Lisa’s consulting work has taken her to the far corners of the globe including Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Russia, and Italy. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D. degree, Lisa was the Director of Human Capital at an international chemicals manufacturer.
Lisa earned a B.A. degree in International Studies and Russian Language and a Masters of Business Administration both from the University of Denver.
