Description
This course was previously numbered COCC 301C.

CO 301C focuses on 1) studying the contexts for non expert Social Sciences writing on 2) practicing similar kinds of writing for those audiences (non-specialist academic and non-academic audiences). Students will complete a carefully sequenced series of assignments to text analysis at the beginning of the semester and write original work, typically based on library and fold research, in the second half of the semester.
