In today’s business world, employees and employers alike need to have some basic familiarity with systems of law and their application to business activities. They should also have a foundation for thinking about ethical problems in our economic and social environment. Students will gain insights into such current issues as government regulation of business, the impacts of business on the natural world, the duties and obligations of individuals in their communities, and the scope of legal rules in directing human behavior.

This course consists of 16 learning modules to reinforce understanding of the concepts. Video cases and homework problems that have immediate feedback provides the student with the opportunity to apply the concepts addressed in each module. Module components include quizzes, tutorials, crossword puzzles, and other thought provoking activities.
