AGRI 140 (Technology in Agriculture) or CIS 150 (Business Computing Concepts and Applications) or CS 110 (Personal Computing).

Description

This is an advanced level course in slide show presentation design. MS PowerPoint 2003 is used to create slide shows and utilize other software to accomplish special effects. Students insert multimedia elements into a slide show, format the slides, use special features of PowerPoint 2003, and create a presentation of their own.

Mike Hanna is an instructor in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University. He has been teaching for 32 years at the high school, community college, and university levels. Mike began working with computers in 1966. He is currently teaching faculty members how to put their courses on the Internet as well as freshman- and junior-level courses in computer applications.
