This course is designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of the role of financial accounting information in business and will focus on business events that occur throughout the business cycle and the accounting practices of that business. Students will be able to analyze, communicate and interpret financial information that is useful to internal and external users in making economic decisions.
This course consists of 16 learning modules to reinforce understanding of the concepts. Video cases and homework problems that have immediate feedback provides the student with the opportunity to apply the concepts addressed in each module. Module components include quizzes, tutorials, crossword puzzles, and other thought provoking activities.
